Does this feel familiar?
  • Have you ever saved a file only to come back later and not be able to find it?
  • Do you feel like your computer put away a document you worked on in the wrong file drawer?
  • Or, worse yet, spilled it onto the floor and it got thrown out?
4
First……
  • Make your computer show all its files
    • You can’t be organized if you can’t see the files that are there
    • Microsoft believes most users can’t handle this knowledge and make the default setting “hidden” for certain types
  • Make sure you can see the full directory paths
